Tips for ERP/CRM Partners to Use Online Marketing Wisely During COVID-19

Events and travel are being cancelled. Many people are working from home.

This means that right now your online marketing strategy becomes even more important. This is a good time to focus on writing and publishing blog posts, case studies, white papers and other content.

Here are a few of my tips:

1) Publish blog articles that will HELP businesses during this time, rather than add to the panic. For example, topics such as:

o   How ERP/CRM can help your employees work remotely

o   How to share information/reports in ERP/CRM to limit group meetings

o   How to use workflows/alerts in ERP/CRM to minimize personal interaction

o   How to confirm you have backup systems in place for ERP/CRM

o   How ERP/CRM can help you communicate with customers online (i.e. portals, email campaigns etc..)

o   How clients can access online training/support resources for ERP/CRM

o   Tips for being productive while working at home

2) See if you can use my record, transcribe, edit method to do phone interviews with some of your consultants who are working at home.

3) If you have extra time due to cancellations/quarantine, use it to brainstorm new topic ideas or catch up on your existing list, rewrite old blog posts, or refresh/re-optimize popular posts.

4) Take this opportunity to review and update your profiles on blog sites, LinkedIn, Twitter etc…

5) Find, evaluate and train new resources to help you going forward. Such as new writers, or my favorite outsourced Twitter manager, who may be looking for extra work.

And of course, if you haven’t already been smart enough to do this…
